From the award-winning Invisible Stories to intimate short films like The Drum, we delve into themes of isolation, resilience, and human connection through a Southeast Asian lens, always with a commitment to cinematic storytelling and empathy.

Invisible Stories

Invisible Stories is a six-part HBO anthology drama series. Set in a fictional Singaporean housing estate, the series unearths the hidden lives of marginalized characters, from a single mother caring for her autistic son to migrant workers and sex workers navigating survival and dignity.

The Drum is a heartfelt short film about an aging man who reconnects with life and family through an abandoned tabla drum left behind by his tenant. Exploring themes of loss, reconciliation, and purpose, the film was selected for competition at the 2017 Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and won the Gold Award at the 2018 Viddsee Juree Awards Singapore.

A futuristic telemovie that interweaves the lives of several individuals connected through an online dating platform, exploring the complexities of love and relationships in a technology-driven society.

 

Nominated for five awards at the 2016 Asian Television Awards, including Best Original Screenplay, Best Actress (Jojo Goh), Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.

A short film set against the backdrop of a traditional Chinese funeral. The story delves into the unravelling dynamics of a family following the patriarch's death, highlighting the fading customs of burning paper offerings - a once-vibrant tradition in Singapore's Taoist funerary practices.
